Sixt

Collection and drop off ok, for which you receive two stars. My complaint lies with the vehicle (Nissan Micra immatriculation FF 411 AB). The vehicle was registered 2018 making it between 12 and 18 months old. The car was, in my opinion, faulty in two respects; the windscreen cracked and I was unable to fill the petrol tank prior to returning the vehicle. Regrettably, I did not take the insurance cover for the windscreen and you therefore got a brand new windscreen from me for a relatively new car (789€) - I was obliged to pay but frankly I don't expect a new windscreen to simply fail (there was no evidence of impact to the windscreen). But of course it is much easier for you to assert you rights over the customer than to challenge the car manufacturer / supplier. I advised you about the "washback" problem when I returned the vehicle. You charged me for petrol however, even though there was no fault of mine - simply another vehicle failure. Again, easier to charge the customer rather than find the fault and challenge the manufacturer / supplier of vehicle. I assume that the vehicle is now fully repaired in both aspects, but I'm sure you will understand that I will never use Sixt again (I often travel to France) nor will I be able to recommend you to any friends, family or business colleagues (in fact, the opposite). Sorry for that, but it will make me feel better....
